Very nice VERY SMALL rooms

I booked a "one bedroom suite" for three people. When I got there, I found the "suite" to be smaller than a normal size Motel 8 room... What they feel made it a suite were two little sections of wall that jutted out next to the bed area, which "separated" the bed area from the sleeping area. They also gave me a room with only one bed for three people. I tried to complain both directly and through the travel agency, and was told that this was the largest room they had, and wouldn't refund my money because I'd booked a suite and they'd given me a suite. It was only after my friends arrived and were obviously very upset that they finally admitted that they DID actually have a bigger room - one that even had a sofa bed in it. After we were moved to the larger room (still VERY small for a suite), things were fine. I would suggest, though, that if you must stay at Club Quaters in Chicago, go to the one on Wacker - it was much nicer.

This hotel can't be beat for location, close to federal buildings and the Mile. Rooms are decent, strictly no-frills. Good services available at hotel.

Ratings way off the mark on this hotel

We just got back from an overnight stay downtown. We did not pick this hotel as we booked through hotwire, and were told it was a hotel comparible to the Hilton, Crown Plaza, or Millenium. It was far from it. The rooms are painfully small, no dresser even. The bathrooms are incredibly small, just a shower no tub. The walls were so thin, we could hear the man above us snoring when we used the bathroom. All cab fairs were a min. of $10 to go anywhere. The employees were pleasant, and there were no bugs in the hotel, so that is about the only thing positive I could say about the hotel. If you are looking for a cheap hotel w/ modest accomadations, this is your hotel. But if you are going downtown and want a quality hotel for a good price this is not your hotel !

Great downtown hotel. BUT NO onsite parking. We arrived at 11:30 at night and two ladies had to walk 3-4 blocks in downtown Chicago to a parking garage and then back to the hotel at midnight.

Basic in a Good Way

This hotel, which has free wireless Internet service, has well-sized and well-appointed rooms. Also, refillable water bottles and caps were available at a water filter on my floor. I had never stayed in a Club Quarters before, and I certainly will do it again! The Club room and other common areas were under renovation when I was there, so it'll even get better
