Absolutely Fabulous

Club Quarters will be the only hotel we will ever stay in (provided it's available) when we visit Chicago! Everyone was very friendly helpful and the hotel was clean, one of the neatest things was the self serve "complimentary" bottle water located near the elevators, this time of year to have a bottle of water is a necessity when walking around Chicago or any city and Club Quarters thought of that!!! The attached restaurant Elephant and Castle was superb and reasonaly priced as was the room rate! I would recommend Club Quarters to everyone!

great location

hotel was at most a 10 dollar cab ride from everything- having an irish pub in the bulding was a bonus especially if you like drinking. the room itself left much to be desired but since we only used it to sleep and were never there was servicable. i've never seen a hotel room without a dresser to unpack- you must live out of the suitecase but since we were in town for only 3 days was manageable- room was clean and no service complaints

We recommend this hotel in the Chicago downtown area

This hotel was well located downtown close to Lake Michigan, museums, restaurants and plenty of activity. We didn't need a car at this hotel as many things were a short walk away, and the "L" train connection is only two blocks away.

great find

hotel was great for the price. Rooms are very clean but on the smaller side. The bathroom was so small my husband and i couldnt fit in there at the same time. staff was very friendly and location was in the financial district in the loop. As an added bonus there is a bar/restuarant attached to the hotel. would go there again for sure!!

Newly Wed Vacation

We went to chicago for valentines day weekend. I was shocked by the price of the room online versus calling the hotel directly there was literally a $30 savings booking the room online. When we arrived eventhough we pre-paid online for our room we were told they needed to hold an additional $90 cash or hold our credit card (which I'm leary of doing thats why I pay online). It wouldn't have been a big deal if we would have known about the deposit before we got there and we could have bugeted a little better but when it's thrown on you like that it makes you leary of the hotel. The room was clean... no fridge or microwave so it kind of forced you to spend extra money eating out. The room was kind of small but it was big enough for us... the only downside about the size of the room was that there wasn't a bathtub... which sucked because it was valentines day and after a long day of shopping it would have been nice to soak in a hot bath. The last night we stayed we could hear doors slamming and we forgot to lock the door before we went to bed I woke up to someone (drunk) barging into our room! I was not happy about that but since I work at a hotel I know that kind of stuff can happen and I should have locked the door. Free water was nice, and the work area. However I couldn't find the exercise room... even though they have pictures I don't think they actually have one at this property. Desk staff was kind of snobby but they could usually tell you what you needed to know.
