Beautiful but not all that's promised

This is a beautiful and comfortable place. My husband and I took the four kids for two nights for a family reunion and chose this hotel based on pool, complimentary breakfast, available wine and complimentary coffee 24hrs a day, and price- all based on this advertisment.
What we didn't know was that the pool- although heated- did not open for another week. The available wine ends at like midnight-and none at all for late Sat night and Sun. There is no coffee after breakfast. The worst part was the complimentary breakfast. I don't think the staff is accustomed to large amounts of people eating there, because they were not able to keep up at all. When we finally were able to get to the food, it was spilled everywhere, and they were out of most things.
These are not terrible complaints, but when you plan your stay based on an ad, you really expect to have the things that are offered. When I voiced my complaints, I did get coupons for the kids to have free milk and cookies. Oh well that was almost as good as a pool right??

We stayed at the Hyatt Place and had a wonderful time. The room was very comfortable and clean. Bed and linens were great. Hotel staff treated us great. The continental breakfast was wonderful. Whenever I am in the Raleigh area I will definitely stay at the Hyatt

Booked this hotel to attend a Michael Buble show at the RBC center in September 2008.Great location! Great hotel and staff and decor! Husband very impressed with 42"flat screen tv that swiveled to bed and to sitting area. So impressed with bed and linens called hotel to get info . . . directed to Hyatt.com website and all the info is listed! Must not be the only ones asking!!! One of the best nights sleep I have had in a long time! Very easy to find. Will stay here again when in Raleigh. And oh yea . . . the staff was wonderful. Didn't get a chance to use the bar or eating area in lobby, but looked so nice and clean, just like our room. Gotta find another reason to return to Raleigh, just to stay at this hotel. Maybe a lil Christmas shopping in Raleigh is in order! Did I mention how comfortable the bed was!!!!!!!! 5Star

I have been using this hotel ever since it became a Hyatt Place. I was actually using it when it was an AmeriSuites, but it is 10 times better as a Hyatt Place. I use this hotel at least 4 times a year for business travel with my stays being a minimum of two days. I have completely stopped looking for a hotel in Raleigh and this is the only hotel I even consider anymore. Every stay has been exceptional. I could not ask for a better value and the price I am getting for the room is a deal. My room is always in excellant condition. It is clean and the furnishings are definitely above average and get the room a bright fresh appearance. The staff could not be better to work with. They are always very friendly and will do anything to help you out. I alvays go back to the hotel before I leave town to book my next reservation because the staff is so helpful. You will not go wrong by choosing this hotel to stay at and if you are not pleased, then you are probably not pleased with any of the hotels you stay at.

I arrived very late due to air traffic issues however, the stress level dropped immediately upon arriving at this Hyatt Place. The staff was welcoming and attentive, even at this late hour, and made check-in a non event. The room was great and the bed helped me get to sleep quickly and the breakfast I had before leaving was just right.
I will stay here everytime I'm in Raleigh. If you're into cost v. value comparisons, this is your hotel.
