While our stay at this hotel was for only one night, we did do some research to make sure there were certain amenities. The La Quinta website states that this hotel has a heated pool and a gym facility on premises. Pool can only be heated by the sun and the gym is a pass to a local community gym 10 minutes away. The "Continental Breakfast" has no fresh fruit, no cereal, not even a donut. They did have waffles, but they were pre-cooked and cold. When the front desk was questioned about these issues, the clerk said "I know, Oh well". There was a loud party in the room above us late the night we were there. When we called the front desk, it took approximately 25 rings for anyone to answer, and when they did the response was "We can't do anything about it." Based on service alone, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL/ COMPANY TO ANYONE.

I was particularly impressed with the efficient desk staff. Check-in was a breeze since the documents were already printed and the key was ready. There was nothing further on checkout. My request for a crib was noted without hassle and it was waiting for me at the desk when I checked in. The room completely met our needs and was as good as any hotel of it's class (exterior facing doors) I've stayed in. The only surprise was the pool was not heated, but for most of the year in El Paso, that's probably not needed. It's further from they city center than many other hotels but I didn't find the extra couple of minutes on the freeway to be a bother at all. Great value.
Easy Access to Airport and Interstate

I stayed here 2 times in one week...Sunday night and Thursday night (commuted to Phoenix in between). The room was quiet and relatively clean....a few stray hairs were spotted in the bathroom. The continental breakfast was very satisfying, and the staff was pleasant. The best part was the location--I-10 was practically at the front door (but the rooms are situated away from the interstate, so it was quiet). The airport was literally 10 minutes away (and that was at 9:00AM, at the end of rush hour).
The travel website reviews I read helped me make the decision to stay here...so thanks to all who take the time to review!
Would stay here again.

We were satisfied with our stay at La Quinta Inn Lomaland. The room was nice and I was impressed with the level of cleanliness. The staff was very helpful, though not all of them were friendly. One desk worker did recommend a great chinese food place that would deliver to our room. Our trip was 1/2 business, 1/2 pleasure. There is a Denny's in the side parking lot of the hotel and lots of other great places to eat nearby, as well as shopping; even though the hotel is located several miles up the interstate from the airport. We did not participate in the free continental breakfast, but I did take a peak and it looked pretty good. The pool was close to our room but since it's February we did not use it. Overall we feel like it was a great room for a really low rate and would definately stay here again. I only wish they offered airport shuttle.

Looking for a place to stay the night and continue the next day, this is a place to consider. The front staff was not very friendly and the breakfast is not what you expect. The rooms are very clean and the bed are ok. Our rroms was at the back of the building blocking all the road noise. We might stay again
