on opening door to room temperature was about 95 degrees in room. had to immediatly open windows. It smelled like stale after shave lotion from the 60's, maybe Old Spice. Rugs were frayed and disgusting, stunk!! Shower curtain was only hung on three hooks, coffee pot was filthy, never cleaned. Bed was most uncomfortable ever stayed in, might as well have slept on the floor. Staff very unfriendly.

Filled with drunken students, I had to call security 4 times, as they partied till 4 AM, the gym was a joke, the Concierge didn't know the city. I will NEVER stay there again.

"This hotel needs major updating. Do not turn on the vent system, it smell like sweat and also only blows out cold air. The shower was horrible and actually broke and was not fixed. After a long day of sight see-ing we got back to our room late to opened windows, left open by housekeeping (and no heat to turn on). The people in the room next to us were smoking and it came right through to our room. The hotel was frequented by prostitutes every night. Oh, and did we mention, DIRTY! The hotel staff is just OK, not overly nice or helpful. Not located in a great area. "
