A Disappointment....

We had booked the Premium Rooms, which weren't that impressive- I would hate to see what the standard rooms look like. The hallway smelled like marijuana and there were stains on the bed sheets, carpet, and couch- which was consistent in all 3 rooms we had. The worst was the elevator- a 30 minute wait each time. The highlight of our trip was the housekeeping employees- they were the ONLY nice and helpful people. I wouldn't stay here again, but it's good if you're not going to spend much time in the hotel room.

Great hotel for its price

The hotel is a bit older, but it's worth the cost. It has a great location in the center of the city and is walkable to practically all points of interest and has access to public transit. The room was neat and clean, but the carpet, sheets, and towels were a bit old. SF parking is a nightmare so if you have a car, get the parking package; it's a great deal.

Not as nice as I hoped

Desperately needs to be redecorated/remodeled. New beds, carpets, and windows would make all the difference. Everything was clean, just old, there was a small tear in the bed sheet. The staff was really friendly to me, and the JackTar restaurant was really good, but skip the breakfast buffet.
