Would stay at this location again. Close to quiet, well kept and close to the Orlando conference center. The only negative expereince was twice the plastic key card failed to unlock various entry doors.

I think the online travel website is tied with Marriott

Especially since after the last post (sans any profanity), I got an immediate Marriott Customer Service notice and it never posted. Let's see if this finally gets posted !!!! In December 08, we changed our reservation from the beautiful Marriott Cypress Harbour to the Marriott Residence Inn at Sea World b/c it was advertized with COMPLIMENTARY TRANSPORTATON TO THE PARKS. We immediately found the "complimentary" transportation to the parks very restrictive and unaccommodating. As such, a staff member allowed a $400 credit towards our room since we rented a car. Upon checkout, our bill was reduced by only $256 with the rationale we changed to a 1 one bedroom the last 3 days. This was despite the fact we found other transporation on our own. I was never forewarned the $400 was dependent on how many rooms we rented - nor should it be. The bedrooms we had where very small and restrictive for any length of stay so we had to live out of a suitcase during our stay.

Fabulous for Mom with Kid

Entire hotel protocol made us feel safe traveling without dad.? CLEAN.? Attractive decor without that fake/tropical/gaudy look.? Hot breakfast buffet- not just cereal and stale buns like some.? All hotel staff were super friendly.? Great location for us, right next to SeaWorld which is our favorite entertainment venue.? And on the south end (quieter, nicer, not tacky) of International Drive for afternoon of mini-golf and nice sit-down meal in good restaurant.? Beautiful pool for child and poolside bar for mom.? I hope the property manager sees this and shares with staff.? They deserve it.? As a matter of fact, I should write to the property manager myself because I was pleased beyond belief to get such a nice hotel when I had no personal knowledge or reference for it.

Great comp breakfest buffet!

I was very impressed with the breakfest buffet everything was fresh and free!! I must say that I was very disappointed with the concierge department, I stood on line because there was only 1 man in front of me, the concierge wasn't giving him information they were just having small talk. Mind you it is 8:30pm my kids are hungy and I had no clue where to go! The following day I had requested directions to universal studios, the concierge seemed frustraited and impatient with my questions, sad thing is there was no need to rush my questions because there was no one waiting behind me. The young man who had checked me in was very unprofessional!!!!! He was very rude in making it clear that he has never heard about the town I am from.. This front desk agent made these unprofessional comments as he checked me in and when he checked me out... This rude front desk agent and concierge failed to realize I know about providing quality service because" I am the lead concierge in a four star resort"... In my view it when you work in hospitality you must be professional, pleasent and patient...
