This hotel was clean, great service, right off the freeway (a ton of road noise when I was trying to fall asleep). Nice casino, drink service was good too. The rate I booked was awesome but I haven't seen the rate that low since! We stayed in the East Tower all refurbished, but the TV didn't work. Took my kids but the pool was too crowded to use.
Would Stay Again...

We had a wonderful stay here. We only stayed a few nights because we were just traveling and staying wherever we wanted.
Everyone was friendly.
We had several meals..breakfast to dinner... at Rosie's inside the hotel. Great food and prices...Leans more towards "homecooking".
Great place to stay!

The Nugget was clean, friendly and easy access for a one night stay.

The front desk was friendly but as we checked into our first room we found a used condom wrapper tucked just under the bed skirt, and we also found a used q-tip by the garbage. I am assuming it was intended to go into the garbage, not on the floor. As we tried to politely check into our second room we found an non moped very dirty bathroom floor, and a makeup stained pillow. At this point I was very frustrated and asked for some form of compensation for my trouble and money spent, and was then told the hotel doesn't have any form of compensation. I asked how they deal with unhappy guests and was told they simply keep moving them room to room. We finally were checked into a room that looked as if it actually cleaned and payed attention to,....but I was very wary as I got into bed. As my $ a night didn't already seem high the complications I ran into upon our arrival at 10 o'clock at night made my nightly rate an rip off...

NO coffee in the room but happy to sell Starbucks from the lobby! Bed in the West Tower was very comfortable and quiet, no sound from the neighbors. Room was clean and not a bedbug was seen!
Though we were booked for a week for a conferance we got none of the advertised perks for vouchers or $ on casino cards. Conferance price charged per night for a king room in the west tower was higher than their advertised price on-line. (Glad work was paying for it!)
Very nice attached garage for easy to self-park plus excellent free valet service. I mentioned the bad reputation of the Coutryard I'd read in reviews and the desk clerk said that was correct. Friends stayed in the recently remodeled East Tower. Rooms were nice but overlooked a junk yard that made noise waking them early after getting to bed late from playing in the casino the night before. There is NO non-smoking room in the casino. If you don't like smoke, play during the day or early evening. The smoke gets thick after 7 pm.
There are many penny slots.
Rosie's cafe' had excellent food with good prices. The buffet was over priced, though you could make a meal of the desserts! We didn't eat at the other restaurants in the hotel. Easy walking distance to several restaurants outside of the hotel. as well as a movie theatre.
Easy access to the interstate and only about 5 miles from the airport. Lines for check-in of folks coming by airport shuttle, otherwise little to no wait at the lobby desk.
The media tech folks were exceedingly helpful in making sure that everything worked well before sessions were to begin. Security was available to oversee conferance material 24/7.
