Pretty Ocean View

We made this reservation the same day as we arrived in Fort Bragg. It was a large room with a beautiful view of the railroad trestle and the ocean beyond. A very quick walk to the beach. Breakfast was ok for light eaters, typical cereal, donuts, fruit. Morning desk clerk was surly.
Quiet Little Town

THis Town is very beautiful! The hotel has a partial view of the Ocean so the Ocean view rooms are not true ocean view rooms!!!
It is clean, the breakfast is a joke, if you just want a friendly place that is clean to simply sleep for the night it will suit your needs.
If you are looking for a romantic place stay elsewhere!!!

This was are second year staying there we never had a problem last year. This year my husband and I got up early went out to breakfast, and when got back the maid had done our room which we did not request yet we had not taken showers yet. I noticed the light on my phone was on I called the front desk they told me that we had been smoking in the room they would have to charge a cleaning fee I said I would be right over to the office we explained that my husband goes outside to smoke and put the ciggs in a plastic cup so he doesnt put them out on the grounds of there property and then brings the cup back in the room he doesnt smoke in the room at all. They produced the cup full of butts for us that the maid had taken out of the room when we didnt want room service until we had taken our showers. The management is very very rude there. Needless to say we got our money back for the one remaining night, didnt pay the cleaning fee because they couldnt prove it and we went down the street to a beautiful hotel that has beautiful rooms with all the amenities you could want. The best western is old and run down when I plugged in my cell phone charger in and a flame shot ou not a spark a flame. The hot water in the shower goes hot to cold. There continetial breakfast there is not much to say about that. So in closing we where very disappointed and very happy we found our new hotel when we visit fort bragg once a year.
Not the best place to stay

When we arrived the room was hot. No A/C. Opened the window and found the screen ripped. The patio was just a long deck shared by all the rooms on the floor - no partitions. My son was freaked out - "stranger danger". The window lock was broken. The room cooled off, then got cold. Discovered the heater was broken. Found a heat dish in the corner, so management must have known the heater didn't work. Something kept banging in the walls. Creepy cemetary across from the front door. Worn decor and finishes as well. Definitely doesn't rate three diamonds.

We thought for the price . The room was clean and the staff was great.Room has a great veiw of the ocean.Watching the sun go down over the water was nice.
