Pleasent surprise

We were pleasently surprised with this less expensive motel. It was clean, well appointed and our king room was spacious. We'll go back again.
OK but could be better

Front staff was helpful with directions to Old Town but couldn't provide much help in using their wireless internet equipment. Lamp was dusty and the pool (although the weather was too cool to use) had leaves in it- didn't look good.
Be careful in the bathroom- although I put down the bath mat, the floor got slightly wet, the tiles were VERY slippery and I took a nasty fall.

We stayed at the Best Western Sutter House for 2 nights. It was a business/family trip with our 2 year old son. The room was comfortable, the staff was very nice and helpful with directions to the zoo and Fairytale town. The breakfast was warm and filling and the staff in the breakfast room was also helpful and pleasant. We didn't get to eat at the restaurant or use the pool, so we can't say anything about them, but overall we'd definetly stay here again! Very family friendly!!!!

Fast, friendly service. Room was extremely clean and wonderfully comfortable. Great location! Easy on and off from I-5, close to Downtown and Old Town. I would definitely stay again!
A fine stay

The room was very clean and nice. There was a sliding glass door so that we could walk right out to the pool, which was clean and warm.
The location is pretty good--a short walk to J street where there are a lot of restaurants and stuff. Two blocks away is a nice brewery with good food.
The breakfast in the morning is a free continental style and offers make your own waffles, even.
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars for the room quality is because they didn't have extra pillows for sleeping. The beds were decorated nicely with lots of pillows, but it wasn't clear that they were freshly washed pillow shams (do they wash those things regularaly too?) so I didn't want to sleep with them and I was too tired to go and ask for extra pillows.
