Fairfield Branson

  • August 23, 2005
  • 5 by Rctaxman from Bayside, New York
Best Things Nearby:
Live variety, comedy, and magic shows, all within a 10-minute drive, and shopping and local dining also

Best Things About the Resort:
It is well kept and maintained. The staff was great, and they had activities going on in case you didn't want to leave the grounds.

Resort Experience:
Live, Live, Live: There were so many shows to choose from, we didn't know where to start. We decided on the Elvis experience (which was great). The kids wanted magic, so we saw Dareen Romeo and Kirby Van Burch, both excellent. We also went to Yakov Smirnoff and found that wonderful. We went on the lake with Ride the Ducks and learned country line-dancing. We enjoyed it so much, we've booked to go back next year.

Fairfield Branson

Best Things Nearby:
The resort is on the southwest side of the town and is very close to Table Rock Dam, Lawrence Welk, Lake Taneycomo, Table Rock Lake, and the Butteryfly Palace. It’s a short drive to the main action of the strip (5 minutes) but is still far enough away that you don't hear all the people and traffic!

Best Things About the Resort:
Fairfield is top notch. They have LOTS of onsite activities and you can do lots without leaving the resort. They also have discounted show tickets and specials for guests. The staff will all go above and beyond. The member services staff are great at helping you plan your entire vacation, from dining to shows. Most resorts in Branson don't offer the services that Fairfield provides to their guests.

Resort Experience:
If you come and stay at Fairfield Branson, they have four phases of condos. The Falls, Meadows One and Two, and then Mountain Vista.

If you have a choice, Mountain Vista is my favorite resort in all of Fairfield. They were built in late 2003, early 2004. They painted the rooms bright colors that make you feel happy all over.

If you happen to stay at the Meadows, they have more of a lodgy feel to the room with dark browns and fish wallpaper. The falls is also very nice, but doesn't have a recreation building. You would have to get in the car or take the shuttel to Mt. Vista to use theirs. Also, the Falls doesn't have elevators, so, unless you get a first floor unit, you would have to take the stairs. I DO NOT RECOMEND THE STUDIO UNITS. They are too small and you would be better off staying at a different resort. However, their one bedroom or larger are all GREAT!

The recreation center has a pool table, ping-pong table, darts, and a great game room. There is also a massage and workout room!

Best Things Nearby:
For our kids (ages eight and five), the go cart track was great.

Best Things About the Resort:

Resort Experience:
It was a very slow-paced vacation for us. The only downside was not taking our boat. My parents live nearby and I try every year to get them to buy a timeshare rather than spending the money on a motel room.

Best Things Nearby:
The timeshare is located close to a number of restaurants, and also the shows. The location is excellent.

Best Things About the Resort:
The people who work for Fairfield are helpful and friendly, the units are very nice and roomy, and the location is super.

Resort Experience:
We found Fairfield at the Falls to be very comparable to Fairfield at the Meadows. The units are tastefully decorated, the beds are very comfortable, and the area is nice and quiet.

We found this timeshare to be perfect for us.

Best Things About the Resort:
Accommodations were superb. Activities were excellent.

Resort Experience:
Branson at the Meadows was very tastefully decorated and superbly equipped. From luaus to barbeques, the staff planned excellent activities. The activities director arranged discount show tickets for us and met us at the theatres to see that everything went all right.
