Excellent Hotel

Our stay at this hotel was only hampered by some loud and impolite guests who were in town for a baseball game. The proximity to Camdem Yards (only steps away) makes it an ideal place to stay for that reason. As a business traveler, one would be wise to check the Orioles(or Ravens) home schedule and be prepared for a crowded and noisy visit both inside and outside of the hotel if the game is likely to draw a big crowd (the Yankees were in town when we were there). The staff was extremely friendly and did a very nice job of handling the large number of guests. The hotel was spotless. The complimentary breakfast was exceptional and our room was modern, clean and comfortable. The pool is shallow and small, but guarded and clean. We would definately return to this hotel. The only drawback were encountered was a $26 per night valet parking fee, but the valets were amazongly efficient and helpful.
A beautiful comfortable place but.....

Very nice place to stay, but the only reason we stayed here was for the "heated" pool. The pool was freezing, we had to swim in the hot-tub! The on-site restaurant is very expensive and very slow. Not a great place to take a family for breakfast.

While the hotel itself, as well as the rooms, looked nice, we had numerous problems during our stay, and the management was less than willing to help. People were smoking on a non-smoking floor and were extremely loud, and while someone did come up one time, the problems did not stop, and nobody came up again. We were charged the wrong price for our room (and the woman was very rude when we asked her to change it), we were given concierge service for the weekend, even though the room is closed from Friday night until Sunday night, and other small problems happened throughout the weekend. We were not at all pleased with the service, and with the other hotels available in the area, we will be sure to stay at one of them next time. Also, if you choose to park, it is much cheaper in garages less than a block away if you don't mind a 2-minute walk. Hopefully your stay will be better!
