Very nice room and good location to airport. When we stayed and called at 7:30 PM from airport we were told the shuttle ended at 4 PM and would not start until midnight. We did have shuttle the next mornng at 5 AM.

After a family visit in Asheville, North Carolina, my husband and I planned a stop in Savannah, Georgia before going home to Orlando. We were both pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel was for the price. The hotel in NC did not have free internet which the Wingate did and it was very easy to use in our room. We also received a hot breakfast each day included in the price of the room along with a refrigerator and microwave. The room was large and very comfortable and I wish we had that room in NC. The front desk people were very nice and went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our sightseeing trip to town. They made arrangements to have the tour shuttle pick us up and return us to the hotel. I would have liked to stay a little longer and would recommend this hotel.

Recently stayed at this hotel for four nights with husband and three kids. We were amazed by the appearance inside and out for the low price. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was more than expected...choices were bacon, sausage, eggs, cereal, waffles, yogurt and three types of juice just to name a few. Rooms were very clean and spacious. The hotel is very easy to access from I-95, several restaurants and shopping center near by. The staff at Applebee's were very unpleasant including management. However, the food there was good. Wal-Mart was only five mins. away (the joy of my life). Room also had workable microwave/fridge. Whirlpool could use some work. It was slightly dirty and was missing the whirl. Outdoor pool was nice. Overall we would stay at this hotel again if we were in the city.
Travel to downtown was approx. 15miles but we kinda expected that so no big deal.
Good place to stay at a reasonable price

I booked this hotel after reviews from this site and our fellow travellers did not dissapoint.
Hotel location is very good, just outside the main city and at a equal distance from Tybee and Hilton Head beaches. Since the hotel is fairly new, the rooms are still good. Breakfast and Internet (cable/wireless) was an added convenience. Fast food restaurants at walkable distance.
Value for money.
