An Okay Place to Stay

July 08, 2008 (1 night, 2 rooms): All-in-all, this is a pretty okay place to stay. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and pleasant staff. If there is a down side, is that it is too far from the center of Helen to walk. You have to drive, and that can be an issue if you plan to drink. There is a water park within walking distance, so that's good for families and kids, but those who want to go out in the evening and leave the car behind will probably want to find something closer to the center. There isn't even a place to eat nearby.
For folks looking for a good room at good prices and aren't worried about how far they are from the center of Helen, then this is a good place.

The indoor pool was nice for the kids, it was still cold in the evening outside in April. Breakfast was nothing fancy, but not bad. Place was clean. Decent place to stay for the price.

This hotel is just before you actually get into town so it was quieter! Everything was great to me.

"Our room smelled musty. When I pulled the sheets back, there was a dead bug and a hair on the sheets. The sheets were stained. Breakfast consisted of packaged donuts, bagels, and coffee. Not even any hot tea!"
