good old days

The stay was ok for the price, but the desk staff needs some personality. The carpets were dirty, sheets were clean, but found some hair on the sheets. No mention of the hot tub. The sink's handle was not attached. The shower drain was slow. The fridge had no control knobs. Found someone's nail care tools in the drawer. The staff while watering the landscape splashed water over the hood of my car. We stayed here before and it was usually pretty good. The new staff or owners have let this place run down.
The local shops were wonderful. Top Dog cafe has good coffee for the morning wake up rush. We have used many of the surrounding inns, i.e. econo lodge, breakers, travel lodge, achor inn, I think next trip i'll try something new.
