We stayed here on our first stop in TN and were pleasantly surprised. We had a great condo that had a split foyer, large 2nd bedroom with 2 full sized beds, a large 2nd bedroom. The Master Suite was on the lower level and was huge. With a large kitchen, laundry room and 6 person Jacuzzi tub that you walk up to in the master bathroom. It had 2 balconies one off the Master bed and one off the dinning area. The kitchen was large and had a large breakfast bar. The property was huge with 2 marina's, kids camp that was only $40 per day and it was worth every penny. One Marina had a fish fry (highly recommended) and a small beach. You can rent boats, fish, hike, and more here. The fireworks were A1 (this coming from a person who goes to the Washington Monument for July 4th). Activities abound but it's quiet, has some residential homes mixed in and will give you the feeling you are at your vacation home. Definitely a place you can have fun or relax with quality accommodations.

Best Things Nearby:
Dollywood, Great Smoky Mountains, Big South Fork, Fall Creek Falls State Park, Nashville, Gatlinburg

Best Things About the Resort:
Very nice units, outdoor basketball goal in park, decks and porches in units, variety of activities available, great running/jogging/walking/biking trails

Resort Experience:
This is a very large resort built around golf courses. It is in a lovely area of Tennessee.

We were in a two bedroom unit on the north side of the resort. The master bath had a whirlpool tub. There was a nice porch off the living room and master bedroom. We had a washer/dryer in the unit as well as a well-equipped full kitchen. The stove did have knobs on the front, so I would not recommend this type of unit to families with very small children.

Although there was no charge for the use of the pool, there was an hourly fee for the tennis courts; the courts are well-maintained, unlike some resorts that do not charge for court time but do not maintain the courts either.

The indoor pool was closed for renovation; I thought the outdoor pool was rather chilly.

We rented bicycles for the teens in our group, but were disappointed to find that they really needed maintenance.

Beautiful condo. It was huge. Living room/dining room had huge cathedral ceilings and beautiful stone fireplace. Master bedroom was huge and Jacuzzi bath in master bedroom you could have had a party in. Most of these units are located in very woodsy areas. Very pretty, but you couldn't sit on balcony and get any sun, as it was all in shade and you would get eaten by bugs.

our unit was a two-bedroom for six people; each bedroom had its own bathroom. The Jacuzzi was large enough for six people. We were very pleased with our unit that overlooked the golf course.

Best Things Nearby:
There are lovely parks, waterfalls, and mountains nearby. Also nearby is the Cumberland County Playhouse, with wonderful plays and very talented casts. We saw two plays there and loved both of them.

Best Things About the Resort:
The units and their furnishings are the very best thing about Fairfield Glade. The resort is rather isolated and is a very good place to get away from it all. We also enjoyed the computer provided to guests at the Registration Building. It was nice to be able to access my email and send messages to family.

Resort Experience:
Our unit was a beautiful two-bedroom unit, all on one level. Parking was convenient so that unloading groceries or suitcases was easy to do. The rooms of our unit were larger than in most timeshares, so the three of us were very comfortable. Wood for the wood-burning fireplace was provided for our use and conveniently stacked just outside our front door. We all felt that we would love to come back to Fairfield Glade again in the near future.
