Carlton Hotel San Francisco

The hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The location was good, close to buses to get around. The hotel was clean and reminded us of typical European accommadations, although we found the room larger than European rooms. They offer a free happy hour if you around at that time. The only negative we found was that our room faced the back of the hotel which was good for tne street noise level except there was a Fire Station there. When the trucks left it could be noisy at night when you're trying to sleep.

The front desk crew was so helpful, if you needed a cab, directions or any other help they were right there, if they did not know they would check it out on the internet or call for assistanct to get the information you needed.

Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly - great location, beautiful room. Would stay here again.

Staff at Carlton were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Wine serving in lobby each evening was a great way to meet other guests and to begin the evening.
Location was convenient to transportation and places we visited.
