Definitely would stay again

Stayed here one night last week before moving over to the Hyatt. I would have had no problem staying here for the whole trip. Large clean room with 2 queen beds perfect for 2 guests. Clean, updated bathroom. Breakfast was adequate. Next trip I'll skip the * per night Hyatt and stay here.

This was our second stay and once again we were more than satisfied. The location is central to all of Monterey's points of interest, and very close to Old Town. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the staff go above and beyond for their guests. Being frequent travelers, this place has all of the things that we look for, and we recommend it highly!

Room had nice decor, room was small but cozy. Heated pool well maintained.
Continental breakfast very sufficient. Staff friendly. BEd very ciomfortable with fluffly pillows.
NOT Within Distance of Anything

This hotel is NOT within walking distance to Fisherman's Wharf. We had to drive everywhere, even to restaurants. The room was clean, but that was the best part. It good use a little remodel.

It was a nice and clean room. The people were nice and I liked the location, but the refrigerator was a bit loud and since I a light sleeper, I didn't sleep as well as I wanted. Also, my room was right next to the check-in office which meant there was a lot of traffic noise. I would probably stay there again, but ask for a different room and probably unplug the refrigerator! :-)
