Front desk staff were really helpful switching me from a queen bedroom to a 2 full bed. Bedroom was really dirty. Shower curtain was very moldy, bathtub was covered with a blacksh dust; blankets were so old that had holes on them; carpet had things stuck to it that I tried to clean it myself because was really disgusting to walk on it; door had spill marks; spider webs behind the curtains and on the open closet; could not open the back door because screen was falling; the room was supposed to be non-smoking, but the whole aisle and the bedroom had a disguting smell of cigarrettes that I had to wash all my clothes when I got home. I have never stayed in such a dirty room in my life.

Lets start at the elevator, thought i was gona die on the way to the third floor. the room had water stains in the ceiling, and in the corner near the sliding door to the balcony. the wall paper was lifting and there was black mold. now lets go to the cleaning staff, they started knocking on the door at 8:30 am, then they finally called the room at 11 to ask if they could get in to clean the room. The walls were paper thin, could here the room next door clear as day. and there was only 2 pillows on the bed.
I have stayed in a few places this is ther worst

I received personable help from the front desk, but the rooms were very poor as was the attention to cleanliness and order. For example, a laundry basket and trash bag were in the hall outside my room from 9:00 am - til well after 10:00 pm. Most hotels' housekeeping staff tidy the room when making beds, vacuuming, cleaning the bathroom - not here.

I was impressed by the staff at front desk. The gentleman went out of his way to make sure my stay was great, yet the housekeeping was HORRIBLE! I do not think the linen was ever changed the 3 days I was there on business.
The housekeeping staff never washed the coffee pot or cups I used. The room had quite an odor of mildew. The carpet was old,the room needed major re-decorating. The motel needs lots of work to bring it up to fashion. The motel has lots of good eatery places near by,however you will need a car if you need to travel to New Haven, public transportation takes a long time, and the cab ride can be very epensive.
I would stay here as a last resort, despite the front desk staff was great.

I liked the Milford Hojo. The staff was friendly and knowledgable about the area. I loved the Mini Golf on the premise and very afforable. Would recommend to friends.
