Beautiful hotel

Loved the staff, all very eager to help make our stay enjoyable. Beautiful lobby. Hotel room was elegant and very clean. Location was perfect. All we wanted to see was walkable and the underground transit was easy to use to get out to places too far to walk. Parking under the hotel, never needed to see the car again until we left for home.

Well-run hotel!

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. A very good quality hotel with a concierge, doormen, bellmen, taxis waiting outside, a nice restaurant/bar, good location, very efficient, friendly staff. The beds were comfortable & had down comforters, feather pillows and a nice view (17th floor). No problem with housekeeping waking us, nor with asking for a late checkout. A service bar is in the moderately-sized rooms. Chocolates were delivered daily. Newspapers on the weekdays. We used the concierge several times & the restaurants they chose were wonderful! The rooms were smaller & the bathrooms were pretty routine but there was a nice dressing area with a lighted mirror. The only thing that would have made this any better would have been if they included breakfast in our great deal!

Nice hotel

The location of the hotel is nice if you want to be close to the action but not in the middle of it. Front desk was very helpful. The room was nice but it could have been a little bit cleaner. I had to call room service one time; we didn’t receive any washcloths after the room was cleaned. I would stay at the Marriott again.

Nice but a bit dated

Excellent location, elevator to Metro and Underground City. Walking distance to downtown and St. catherine Street, Hockey Stadium, Notre Dame Cathedral, Dorchester Square, Catherine Street Shopping, etc. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and clean, but show their age in bathroom fixtures and furnishings. The pool is nice and clean, but it too shows its age, and certainly could use a renovation. Breakfast Buffet is a good deal, but the restaurant is not the best for dinner.

Hotel Stay in Montreal

The hotel was a very nice hotel, friendly staff and easy location to everything, just in walking distance. Also the metro is under the hotel, so all you had to do is take the hotel elevator down walk a little and you are at the metro. Also the rooms seem to be sound proof, the reason I say that is, we heard no noise from the people next us, which they seem to be young adults having a get together one night when we came back from eating, you never heard them from your room and they were loud, so that's a plus, also you really didn't hear that much street noise, we were on the 10th floor, and you would have never known the metro was down blow the hotel, never heard it. The hotel had 2 shops for snacks and t-shirts, also the hotel had restaurant you could have a breakfast buffet, kind of expensive, but good, they also had 2 other places to eat in the hotel, that was cheaper.
