Great value for what you get.

The staff at this hotel were very polite and helpful. When ever something came up it was dealt with promptly and professionally. The rooms were very comfortable and homey. It was very nice to go to a hotel and have a fitness center that had so many options to choose from. We were able to get an all around workout while we were there. This hotel is located in a central location which makes it convenient to access the entire city of Des Moines and its surrounding subarbs. We were just minutes from great places to eat and have fun. The hotel also had options for dining in as well as a friendly little lounge. The food service was quick not only in the actual dining room but also when ordering room service. The only negative was that we each had to pick a different entree three times before we found something that they were not out of when we ordered room service for dinner. Overall the experience was great and we would go back there again.

I have NEVER seen a "party room" two doors down from a sleeping room , but they have one on the 10th Floor (smoking floor). The party was loud and went to midnight. Otherwise, it was very nice. The employees were very polite and helpful. The rooms were clean and well stocked. Good experience overall.
