Great vacation!

This was such a great, relaxing vacation because we could leave the car in the parking lot the entire time and walk everywhere. Breakfast was really good too.

Love this place

we stayed over the New Year weekend..an it was wonderful...but I have to say...the staff are great, the ladies that work in the breakfast dining room are saints...they work thru the crazy people and the kids that can't do anything but cry or get in their way when they're trying to work...but this place is a jewel...I will recommend it to anyone...our room was quiet, roomy and we enjoyed ourselves completely...thanks for a great three days...

Luxuriate, but skip the breakfast.

The hotel, staff, comfort, parking, location are all perfect, but the "Continental Breakfast" is best avoided. Grab your juice and coffee and drive to a real restaurant. Look out for busses laden with children, and don't use the elevator when they approach. The Woodlands is in a lovely setting and is convenient to everything Williamsburg.

Wonderful experience

The localtion was the reason of choice, Woodlands is located next to the visitors center. The shuttle buses start and leave from there. They are timely and the people were courteous. The lady at the desk was most accomodating and extended our stay one additional night after our arrival. We chose to drive to locations outside of Williamsburg and our hotel was well positioned for that as well. Our vacation was wonderful and we would stay at Woodlands again in a minute.

Car vandalized

The hotel and staff were pleaant and activities available were wonderful. My only complaint is that my car was vandalized during my stay and because I parked on the back lot located at the hotel (considered public parking) the hotel will not cover the damages. I was not told up front that the back lot was publio parking nor did any staff member suggest that I park in the keyed lots.
