Hotel is also a weekly hotel where people live. There is not an iron or a hairdryer in the room and the front desk will not bring you one. There were bugs in the room and it was a very scary place to stay.
A good value for the money spent

My family needed a place to stay for a conference that lasted a week. We were on a strict budget and knew that we would not be in the room much during our stay. We needed a place where we sleep, eat and prepare for the next busy day. We found just that at Sun Suites at a price that we could afford.
There was no pool, excersize room or continitial breakfast but we did not expect that. What we did expect was a clean room; although a bit small; with a stove, refridge and microwave. We found the appliances to be clean and in good working order. The air conditioners in all of our rooms were cold and quiet. The facility was quiet and located in an area close to many stores and resturants. The few down falls were the lack of pots and pans and there were only two place settings. We purchased a few pots from the dollar store. Be prepared to bring paper plates, plastic cutlery paper towels and light cleaning supplies.. We also had to ask for and wait on clean towels, face clothes and hand towels.
We did feel as though we got a good value for what we spent. The facility was not fancy but it was clean safe and quiet. The landscaping was excellent and gave the impression that the owners care for and have pride in their facility.
I would stay with them again

Excellent, well kept, clean room with a small fridge and microwave were nice features. No room service and towel only changed once or twice a week. However, they cut a little on the services to save you on the price and I think it's worth it. Nice area, comfortable rooms and easy access to DART. Would stay again.
