Better choices

Room was large but needed to be updated. Bathroom was tiny and tub did not drain. Did not take advantage of the free breakfast when I saw it was limited to a few choices with waitresses who did not seem very excited to be there. Good decision to skip this. Pool was not heated (probably why no one was in it.) and there was not exercise room. Front desk help was rude (which seemed to be the rule in the south end of Taos-the woman at the tourist information building was awful as well). When we asked for a first floor room, we were told that we were able bodied enough to walk to the second floor. Better choices in town.

We stayed at this hotel for a spring break vacation. The rooms were nice and clean. The hotel staff was very friendly and informative. The breakfast buffet was nice, but the options were limited. I would stay there again.
Adequate rooms, nice staff

Good location right on the main drag, about 2 miles from the Plaza. The staff was very helpful with directions, ski information, and such. However, the rooms had paper thin walls and too many kids running up and down the hallways. The other strange thing was that the sink, toilet and tub were extremely low to the ground-- I'm only 5'3'' and I had to bend way over to wash my hands and face. The shower had just a trickle of water. Breakfast was buffet style with food that had been sitting out for hours. Not very appetizing.
But-- if you need a relatvely cheap hotel with a good location, and don't plan on spending time in the room, this is an OK choice.
Very impressed for the cost!!!

We were very happy with the Quality Inn in Taos and will definitely stay there again. We were greeted by friendly staff, the room was clean and comfortable. Slept great in their comfy beds, and they had plenty of quality pillows (usually one of our complaints with most hotels)! The complimentary breakfast was a full hot breakfast, made to order, and was fantastic. We highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a good value and a clean comfortable place to stay.
Low Quality Inn

We won't stay here again. The hotel rooms need to be updated. The bathrooms have no exhaust fans, which makes them steamy and moldy. The tile around the tub faucet could have been pushed out with little pressure and the bathroom door was rotting at the bottom. We couldn't take showers because the water temp changed suddenly from cold to very hot. There were no ceiling fans in the room either, and the room was stuffy. There was a door that opened to a nice courtyard, but we had to close it when people began to smoke outside. There was a microwave and fridge, but the fridge kept going on and off and didn't keep drinks cold. The lobby and restaurant was ok, but the rooms aren't Choice Hotel quality.
