The Pines Resort

Ok, so this is expensive, but I love this old hotel. There are rooms in the main building and non-housekeeping cottages scattered around the grounds. The views are fantastic, plenty of walking trails, great bird watching, and plenty else to do. Open May through October. This is a sister hotel to the Keltic Lodge on Cape Breton Island. Both are wonderful although they certainly are at the top of the price range for Nova Scotia. Room in the main building can be very small. I suspect old time servants quarters. For a safe bet on comfort and space, book a cottage!
