My friend and I did a San Francisco to San Diego Trip. This little motel was perfectly situated for a mid point stop. The rooms was clean and comfortable, with a kitchen and fireplace. The high point of the stay was the manager, Frank Santana. He was one of the most charming characters I have met in years. He sincerely cared abut your stay and was helpful in providing info regarding Santa Barbara. The complimentary breakfast was great. It is definitley a return spot.

The carpet in the room was dirty and the room smelled like an animal had been staying in it. The desk clerk accused me of having an extra guest in my car, even though I only made reservations for one. I was traveling alone. The room did not have air conditioning. This room was not worth $255.00!

Before we even got to the lobby, the manager was saying Hello to us. They excel at the details: directions to just about everything nearby as well as maps and coupons for local shops were given to us right away. The location is great - close, but not in the middle of it all. The rooms will be remodeled and upgraded with air conditioning. It's apparent that the managers want to make sure everyone is happy and comfortable.

They were out of the standard room I booked so I got upgraded to a suite with fireplace and kitchen. Location in awesome. One block to East Beach. Was quiet, clean and the staff is awesome. 5 start experience at a 2 star hotel

This place is paradise! The rooms were beautiful and spotless. X, the manager, was the best ever - no kidding! Easy parking. Easy travel by shuttle everywhere. Great help from X for everything. Tasty continental breakfast. Best coffee! Near everything. We would LOVE to come again and wouldnt consider staying anywhere else.
