We were very pleased with the Hotel Provincial and will stay there again. It is on a quiet street in the Quarter. Very quaint room and the private parking lot was a huge plus. Parking is a very big deal and having the valet take care of was a real blessing!! Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Provincial Hotel. The room is decorated in antique furniture and was very clean. Our room was right by the courtyard where there were tables and chairs and a large fountain. The fountain could use some cleaning, the water was nasty but the court yard was very peaceful. The pool was very close to our room also and most of the time the kids had the pool to themselves. Also loved the fact that they had a ceiling fan in the room and air conditioning worked great. They also have a very nice computer for public use in the office. The staff was very friendly and helpful with information about the area. If we ever go back to New Orleans we would stay at the Provincial again.

This was a nice hotel for the money. It wasn't anything fancy, but it was a decent room at a great price in a GREAT location!!! Staff was very friendly and helpful. The pools weren't heated, so at the time we went they were a little cold, but still nice to sit by to read a good book or talk with friends. Beautiful terrace with a fountain! Free internet access in main building. Older hotel, but had charm!

Beautifully refurbished old Hotel with lots of history. There was a bit of a snafu when we first checked in, as our key cards wouldn't work. They sent us back with new keys 3 times before a manager escorted us back to the room the 4th time. That's when they discovered there was already someone in that room. Once that was all settled though, things were great. The Hotel is very old & has a lot of history. The rooms are tastefully furnished with period pieces & exceptionally clean. If you're planning on spending all your time in the French Quarter, the best part is that there is no need to get your car back from the Valet until you're ready to leave because the Hotel is within walking distance of everything.

Nice location - close to what we wanted to see and do without being in the middle of the noise and crowds. Our room was quiet and comfortable. Nice pool. Friendly staff. Rooms are spread out over several buildings, but all fairly close together. Free continental breakfast was very limited, so plan to eat breakfast elsewhere if you are truly hungry.
