This is a wonderful place for a French Quarter stay as long as your objective is not to spend all your time on Bourbon St. (it is a bit far to crawl home.) It is a block and a half from the French Market, Jackson Square, two blocks, I think. The longest walk was maybe six blocks, if that, to Preservation Hall. It is very quiet, pretty, well kept. The continental breakfast is a bit better than most (the Danish and croisants fresh, good coffee.) There is a highly rated restaurant located there, but we did not try it. Prices can vary wildly on line, our cost was good. You pay for parking, but it is right there and safe. I would recomend this place to all my freinds.

The Hotel was a wonderful find. We went there for a few days in New Orleans, and it is a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are nice and clean, the courtyard and the pool are very nice. We will definately stay there on our next trip!

Hotel Provincial is a great place to stay if you want to enjoy the nightlife, yet leave it on the streets when you are ready for sleep. The rooms are nice with nothing terribly fancy. The rooms all look out over either the courtyard with fountain or over the pool. It is a short walk to Jackson Square and the shops on Royal St. Clean rooms, friendly staff and reasonably priced parking.

This was a wonderful hotel. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The room was clean and very comfortable. The hotel courtyard was beautiful and quiet. The pool was very clean and rules were stictly enforced after ten o' clock. The hoel was quiet even being in the French Quarter. Unfortunately I did not see the ghost of the nurse or see any southern soldiers since the hotel was formerly a milatary hospital. I will definitely be staying here again.
