The experience of a lifetime. What a great hotel to stay in when visiting Birmingham. Completely different than any other hotel that I have ever stayed at. Warm, Inviting, Friendly, Chic and Cool. Thank you for allowing us to having this experience.

Excellent room for the money. The staff was real nice too. I brought my two year old grandson with us and the staff doated on him. We were very confortable we ate outside the hotel at a BBQ place called "JIM and Nicks" ...excellent. We did not have to use the valet parking. We used the parking garage next door for $4 dollars. The room was so very nicely decorated I did not fell like I was in a hotel. Lots of pillows on the bed.

Wonderful Place, Expensive Parking

This Hotel is awesome. If you can get the King Suite. The colors and decor give it a very chic appearance. The central location is very nice. The decor of the entire hotel is very nice and have bohemian yet chic atmosphere. The view of the downtown area at night is beautiful and the central location makes getting around very easy. The down side is parking. I don't think as a Hotel Guest i should be expected to pay $18 a day to have valet parking by the Hotel. There is parking along the streets at the meters which depending on the time of day or evening may be free. However, because of the nightlife in the area parking on the weekends can be difficult. There is a garage for $4 a day which isn't bad. But most hotels provide guest parking for their guests at no cost or at a more reasonable rate than what the Highlands charges. My stay was wonderful, the people were great. But hotel parking cost is atrocious.

Loved It!!!

Great little hotel. Quite cute and sassy. Excellent for a getaway for the weekend. Would definitely stay there again for a quick getaway. And by the way loved being in the entertainment district. It was definitely a change of scenery.

Location is excellent for dining and just walking around the historic 5 points area of Birmingham. This restored hotel has a friendly, helpful staff and gives first class service. The rooms are lovely and very comfortable. The continental breakfast offers a variety of food in a comfortable setting. This has become the only hotel my wife and I will stay in when we visit Birmingham.
