This hotel is an exceptional value. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room was roomy, clean and welcoming. The amenities were plentiful with indoor and outdoor pools, a whirlpool, game room, weight room, sports bar and exceptional restaurant. For a small additional fee you may experience a banquet breakfast on weekends worthy of the normal $10 per person charge. This property is in the planning stages of a water park. We plan on returning there in the future.

We always stay at this hotel when we go to Destin, Fl and we always leave wanting to stay just a little more. The breakfast buffet is amazing, they also make the best waffles in the world. During the day around 3 pm they have free popsicles or popcorn for the guests, and also, if the kids don't want to be outside they have great activities for the kids to go enjoy in the hotel activity room like movies, birthday party and arts and crafts. We also adore the hotel service, they are always so nice and helpful and anytime you need somethign they go out of their way to get it for you. The location is the best, you walk out of your room and your on the beach, it's the best. We always recommend this hotel to our family and friends and we have never had a bad experience yet. Overall, it feels like your staying at your home away from home, the location is wonderful, the service is the best and the food is amazing....well done Holiday Inn, well done.

It was a very nice hotel, beds weren't very comfortable but rooms were clean. The pool was beautiful but unfortunately, even though it was in the 80's the pool was so cold that you couldn't get in it. Since I don't like the ocean to swim in I was really looking forward to swimming in the pool so it was very disappointing on that level. So, if you want to swim in the pool you had better go only in July or August......

My wife and I decided to visit the beach for a weekend and we couldn't have been happier with our final destination. We had no idea where we were going to stay when we got here, just that Destin was the place to go. As soon as we arrived at the Holiday Inn until we left, everything we asked for was taken care of. The staff here is wonderful! The entire first floor of the hotel (almost all the way to the beach access) had just been renovated and looked great! You could really tell the management took an active interest in keeping this building updated. Fresh paint on the exterior and interior. If anything the sheets and bedding were a little worn, but I was informed by one of the housekeepers that they had just ordered new sheets and linens for all the rooms that month. I can't wait until we get to come back!

We got married in Destin on the beach and chose to stay here because it was right on the beach. We had only seen a few pics and decided to take the chance. It was an absolutely beautiful hotel, smaller than some of the other mega resorts that are along the beach, so it was less hectic. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The resteraunt in the hotel is a great value, there are 2 pools and 2 hot tubs as well as a nice fitness center and a sauna. They even have dvd players in each room, and you get a free movie with your stay. If your going to the beach in Destin, definitely stay here.
