This was a very nice hotel. It was clean, well furnished and everything looked new. Check-in was quick and friendly. When we encountered a minor snafu, the staff bent over backwards to help us out. The breakfast buffet was huge and very tasty.

We were in NYC for my Mom's 85th birthday. We couldn't have stayed at a better place! The staff treated my Mom like a queen - even giving her a tin of cookies on her birthday! The staff is EXCELLENT, the food great! The location is great! We will definitely stay again!
The concierege was especially helpful and resourceful in finding things to do/places to eat. My Mom uses a walker and has very limited mobility and they found us terrific things/places that Mom could enjoy! They were also VERY helpful with transportation (which can be *interesting* with a walker and mobility issues) and making sure that places were accessible.
Kudos to everyone!
Fall break with three teenagers

Great Hotel..the free breakfast had omlets and pankakes cooked to order. There was also a breakfast bar with scrambled eggs and bacon and many other breakfast items. We saved a lot of money not having to eat breakfast out. We had three teenagers with us and they all loved the breakfast. There were lines to get breakfast but they moved fast. No more than a five minute wait at the most. The managers reception each night was also a great way to get a snack and a drink at the bar for free! The room was really nice. I have been to NYC many times and this by far was the largest room yet. The only drawback I could say is that it is not real close to a subway station..it is about a 10 minute walk. Not too bad on your way out each day but quite a haul when you are dead tired after a day of shopping! The hotel staff was very friendly. I would highly suggest this hotel.
Embassy Suites, Manhattan

I stayed at the Embassy Suites in Manhattan on Sept. 12 - 15. The location was great...right next to Ground Zero in the Financial District. There were six of us and we reserved a suite. The accommodations were very nice and spacious enough for all of us. The front desk employees went beyond great service - they recommended restaurants, helped us navigate the subway system, among other things. Each evening they have a Manager's Reception with different types of finger foods. Breakfast was awesome - made to order omelets, cereal, pancakes, bacon, fruit, and on and on. There was no way you could be hungry after breakfast.
I would stay at the Embassy Suites again and I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Manhattan!

Our stay was awesome and so glad we found this hotel. The room was very nice and clean and great for a family of 4 with pre-teens. Our flight was delayed getting to NYC so having flown from Houston, having restaurants like Chevy's, Applebee's, Italian food or Japanese food to choose from was really nice. The movie theater was an extra perk to have right downstairs, just wish we'd had time to enjoy it. The breakfast spread was great too. The staff was extremely courteous, especially at breakfast!
Across the street from the hotel is more shops and restaurants too. This hotel was also convenient to the subway, Ground Zero and Statue of Liberty. I've stayed in NYC several times, but will continue to book my trips at this Embassy Suites!
