Quote: After a very long day of sight seeing we got back to our room (344) only to hear the unendless sound of thumping bass. When I called down to the front desk they said there was a wedding and the band would be playing until 12:00. I was amazed that the sound proofing of a newer building was so bad and we were on the 3rd floor I can't image what the second floor rooms experienced. Maybe they got the full words to the songs and not just the mumbling sounds.

Only problem was booked a 2 bed room, got a king (this is because of some problem through online travel website where I went to edit room then cancelled out and it somehow cancelled my room and rebooked a king? not sure why I wouldn't do that with a husband and two kids!). Quote: Awesome stay at the Hampton Inn . The kids loved the pool area, in door out door hot tub and pool play area. I can not remember staying at a cleaner motel. The room was spacious, well stocked and the beds were very nice. The motel was quiet and on a beautiful lake view setting. We will be staying in this Hampton Inn again!
Quote: We travel to Bemidji several times a year to visit family. I have stayed in other motels up there but none compare to the Hamption. You pay a few more dollars but it is well worth it. Excellent pool and a Kids pool also. There is also a resturant in the hotel. It is very clean and the rooms are well maintained. The hotel is about 5 years old as for the others they are at least 15 or older. Spend the few dollars extra and stay in a nice room with a comfortable bed.

I was unfamiliar with the Hampton product, but somehow booked this property, as it was one of the few chains on the lake.
