My boyfriend and I decided to stay here while we were handing out in Tampa. I decided to get this hotel because it had a spa in the room. What a terrible idea. I called for robes and the lady told me that "we don't do that at this hotel." What kind of hotel doesn't provide robes? she says that their guests normally bring their own. Then I asked her if I should bring sand to beach as well? The response I received was "I guess so." Next, the hot water for the tea was never hot, always lukewarm. We always turned off the air conditioner before we left the room because it would get too cold and when we came back it was turned down to the lowest setting and when I called for a blanket the guy told me that they don't have any would see what he could do. What kind of hotel doesn't have blankets? He brought me this thing that felt like sandpaper. There was some change that my boyfriend left on the desk that wasn't there when we returned. What else??? I called for more bath towels and they told me I don't know if I have any and then brought me some in 3 minutes and when I told the gentleman I guess you found some he just stared at me dumbfounded. The beds were horrible; the sheets were thin. All-in-all, this hotel did not live up to the marriott name and I was completely disappointed with it and hope that this helps others do not want to stay there.
