got ripped on credit card

For 2 people on a limited income to be charged 100 dollars extra and beiing accused of smoking in our room, which we do not smoke is outrageous, and not finding out about the charge until a few day later when we were checking out bank account. Management didn't really care and told us too bad when we called. Would not recommend any one staying there unless you want to be ripped off.

Tourist Trap

In return for big city prices ($* for two queen beds), we got cheap, shoddy construction with flaking walls, holes, unpainted plywood and sticky carpet. In spite of the price, there wasn't even Kleenex in the room, let alone a wireless connection - but our window had a giant view of Taco Joe?s dumpsters. Staff were indifferent and the lobby doors were smeared with days of smudgy grime. A classic tourist trap, shamelessly overpriced by multiples.

Great location but noisy

Great location right in the mix of most everything Cody has to offer. Two blocks to the Buffalo Bill Mueseum, one block to the gunfight in the street and right downtown in the middle of restruants and shops. Clean and plesant hotel but because it's located on Sherdian Ave which is the main street going through town it is very noisy. Lots of motorcycles and loud cars and trucks. Things settle down after midnight. If you want to be near the action this is a great hotel. If you value your sleep find a hotel off of Sheridan Ave.

The Wild West

The Econo Lodge is within walking distance to the Buffalo Bill museum. It is smack downtown with the shopping and gun fight show. The only thing too far away to walk to is the rodeo. During the summer there are a lot of bikers there, be prepared to wake up to Harleys. Pleasant enough, only complaint is the pillows which are paper thin. I asked for, and was given, two extras...still didn't seem like one whole pillow.

Danger Stay Away

Do not stay at this location. The room was extremely dirty and clearly had not been vacuumed. Both the sink and shower had hair in them. The walls are paper thin so any noise is transmitted.
