While the front desk personnel were very friendly, I would definitely not stay in this hotel again. We had planned to stay two nights, but checked out after only one night and went to another hotel. This hotel needs a great deal of upgrading and remodeling. Other hotels can offer a similar price and are of far greater quality. The rooms are very small with furniture that is extremely worn out, soiled, or damaged. The photos displayed on the hotel web site are very misleading.
Great Acomadations, Great Price

Room was clean and safe. Morning free breakfast was ok. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a great stay for your money. I was there for my sons graduation from Fort Benning. There were closer hotels to base however this one is off the main highway and I felt safe. Hotel staff was very frienly and helpful. They even have internet access and I was able to confirm flights home. Dinner from the resturant was very good. We had pizza that tasted like home. Thank you Howard Johnsons for making my GA visit great.

I requested a room on the first floor as I cannot do stairs very well. I got a room on the second floor. I made my reservations 2 months in advance so I was shocked to find out that friends that we joining us made their reservations the night before they got there and they both got rooms on the first floor. This not only made me mad but it totaly upset me . I did not enjjoy my first night at the hotel. I feel that web travel agency should compensate me for ending up extremely in a lot of pain on the first night because I had to go up and down the stairs. I cried all night the first night because of the pain. I know that you probably don't realize that people with my disease have extreme pain. If you don't understand it go to website and look up Periphal Neuropathy and read up on it. It is not FUN. I expect a response from someone at travel agency.

The night staff was very helpful. We got in very late, or early I should say. They got us right into our room and left us alone to sleep in that first morning. Very considerate staff. They where helpful with locations, sight seeing and good restaurants.

This is a HJ from your childhood. Very clean, helpful staff, comfortable beds, and a nice location. Nothing fancy but totally functional. Your are a few blocks from several restaurants that are within walking distance.This HJ is a value for the rate.
