On our recent quick trip, we went with the inexpensive and ideally located hotel, right on the Bay. It had no Bay/beach access, which is understandable (maybe or not?). The room smelled old and moldy. The bathroom has not seen bleach in months (if ever). The linens had stains and smelled like Very Cheap laundry soap (not even a dryer sheet to cover the cheap soap smell). The front desk would not (or could not?) print out a copy of anything, no receipt, no nothing. After calling the manager and discussing it, the clerk said they would email me a copy. People were loud late at night and it echoed through the pool area. I would have left, but everything was prepaid, and I doubt I could sqeeze my money back out of them. I am trying to save money, like everyone else, so I only went there to sleep which wasn't always easy. Everyday I took all valuables with me in the rental car. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel, unless you are a beach bum and are looking for a cheap place on the Bay.

About what you should expect for the price. They are renovating the hotel and the area seems to be on the upswing. The hot tub (mentioned in the description) is filled in with dirt and shrubbery, but the pool was open and clean. Not a place I'd take a family just yet (construction debris). The room was large with a fridge and microwave. Overall I was satisfied, but then I wasn't expecting much. Typical "losing business" hotel being renovated by hopeful new owners. Location is VERY good, made the airport in 15 min.

Hotel was a really good deal for the money. We had a king suite with a fold out couch. Refrigerator was ice cold, plenty of cabinet storage, a/c worked rather well( mid 90's during the day, upper 70's at night). Location was fantastic. About 200 feet from the water. Almost no audible noise from the outside could be heard in the room. The pool was exceptionally clean and large with ample seating. Check-in was very slow, almost 2 hours. Only one individual working the front desk. Breakfast consisted of muffins, doughnuts, cereal, and orange juice. Door keycards were very easy to use, one swipe and your in. No pets policy. Overall happy with our stay. Would recommend.

Front desk gave different prices to different people- even those standing nearby questioning the price given to the other customers. Not very " family like" customers checking in, if you can understand what I mean. Rug was discusting and bathroom was in dire need of some plumbing work. Musty smell as well. Like they say- u get what you pay for?? Wouldn't go back- will warn friends and family.
