Great place to stay

I've stayed here a few times over the years, has always been very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Rooms have recently been redone & are very nice, bed is comfortable. Rates are very competitive for the area. Would recommend it to anyone.
Great Value/Location for Wine Country

We stayed two nights in May, 2008. Location is great for those wishing to visit the Russian River Valley and/or Sonoma Valley wineries. The Russian River Valley is beautiful and much more subdued than Napa Valley. I cannot say enough about Karalea, the Guest Experience Manager/Concierge. She went out of her way to guide us through "wine country" and made reservations for us at the wineries who had "reservations only tastings". Dinner in Equus was very good, with great service. We booked a super on-line special that included a full breakfast buffet. Rooms were new and clean, and our junior suite had a refigerator (with water inside) and a coffee maker with real creamers, not the powder!!! I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was always helpful and very polite. Very nice and clean room. Housekeeping did well and the front desk quickly and accurately answered any questions. Getting into the parking lot can be tricky with heavy traffic, but easy access to many wineries, stores, and restaurants.
This is NOT a Pastoral Setting

Hotel advertisement leads one to believe that the hotel is a peaceful, pastoral, somewhat remote location. Couldn't be further from the truth. Two Major roadways right outside my window woke me at the start of rush hour each day.
The ONLY thing left of the "Fountaingrove Ranch" is the disintegrating barn and a few acres of weeds.
ALL of the photos of the grounds are cropped to provide documentary support to the misleading description of the property's location.

Great stay for Napa/Sonoma area

Stayed here for a couple nights while touring the wineries in the area. Had a deluxe suite - which was very spacious. Beds were very comfortable, rooms were quiet. Great complimentary breakfast buffet with loads of fresh fruit. Cheaper than other places nearby, but not sacrificing quality.
