A Weekend Getaway

The only thing that I found to be uncomfortable with this place were the beds. They were rock hard. I like to stay in motels and such, but I want the bed to feel great. I don't want to wish my whole trip that I was back at home..........................The only noise I heard at this place was all the other travellers coming and going way early, but I am a light sleeper too. They also allowed my two small dogs which was great! I would stay at the Quality Inn again, but I plan to take a cushy topper for the mattress.........................LOL

Very dissappointed

As a walk-in to a nearly full motel, we were put in the overflow (apparently an older motel recently purchsed from a private owner). Paid the Quality Inn rate, yet got low quality room. There was a large crack running almost the entire length of the door frame - looks like somebody had tried to break in. Very small room, only a double bed. And we didn't even get Choice points! If you plan to stay here, check out the room before paying and don't take the overflow! It's certainly not worth the inflated price.

way to noisy

The room was nice the staff good but the walls and doors, floors are so thin you can here EVERYTHING! The water pipes make such loud noises I thought they might burst or something. every night and morning we were woken up from the noise of the pipes and people outside our door. It is the worst quality inn I ever stayed in and we will not stay again. we checked out several days early because of it.the hbo also never played and never fixed after several requests. it looked like a scrambled picture. this place is not worth the cost and convience of the ferry.

We had a charming stay. I've returned to the Uptown Inn over the years (current & former ownership) for many good reasons: warm hospitality, reasonable price, great location, and comfy, spacious, individually-themed rooms. Staff graciously met the needs of our large family leaving before sunrise; their comp breakfast spread is impressive!

Exceeded expectations

From the time you check in you are delighted to find this is not just another chain motel. Outstanding front desk staff with advice for restaurants. Rooms are themed with decor like a home. Super clean. Great expanded continental breakfast. Great location and view of harbor. Wish I was staying a week.
