The hotel was beautiful and clean. Very friendly and courtious staff. Plan on taking another trip and staying in the same hotel.

The hotel room had mold on the wall.The first night my son and I didn't notice .When I mold I called down stairs to the desk and they changed the room.The bed was not as comfortable as the first room.The employees was great
No free breakfast

When we booked the hotel with travel website, we prepaid the entire amount, so that we could enjoy free breakfast as per the online description of the "family escape package." Without the breakfast offer, we would not have prepaid for 2 rooms and 3 nights.
However, after our first breakfast, we discovered only children under 12 received free breakfasts, and that the two adults in each room had to pay full price. We had no children with us.
After being charged for the breakfasts, we had to make two trips and several phone calls to the front desk to straighten all this out. The hotel explained that travel website had promised us the free breakfasts, not the Marriott.
When we were leaving, one of the folks in my group had a $412 hold placed on their bank debit card (even though we had prepaid for the rooms), as though the hotel was waiting to charge rooms to the travelers. The hold on the card remained on her card for several days after we returned. All miscellaneous charges were also paid before we left the hotel.
The food was good. The workers seemed nice enough. The front desk was a bit confused.
Back to the budget hotels for us!

We wanted to splurge on this vacation and get a fancier hotel room than the usual budget places we normally stay. The room we ended up with was fine (after they moved us from the damp, smelly room with the beautiful view of the building's air conditioners) but very basic. It was nice to be connected to the River Center mall and on the river walk, within a nice walk's distance of most of the river walk's attractions. The real kick in the pants came from all the extra fees, which I can't even describe as nickel-and-diming for their severity. $23 ($21 plus tax) a day to park our car was more than we were paying to rent it! $10 a day for internet access seemed ridiculous. I tried to talk to an attendant about some kind of bulk internet deal since we were staying for a week and all they would suggest was paying the fee or buying an equally expensive access card from their business center and using those computers to go online. We ended up taking our suddenly-expensive car (which, after the parking fees started, we felt compelled to get as much use out of as possible) to other Wi-Fi spots for our online needs. Honestly, I stayed at a Super 8 the week before that was just as good in all of the major room requirements (better in a few...I had a refrigerator and free breakfast there) and also had free parking and internet access for half the price. There was nothing special about the place to justify the basic price or the big add-ons. Next time, I'll keep my nickels and dimes (and bucks!) and stay in a cheaper hotel.

This hotel had great service. The room was a little small and the beds were not very comfortable. However, the location was great. The room was always very clean when we got back each day. I would stay here again.
