We booked two nights at Geneva on the Lake based on reviews we read online and the fact that the Inn is known to be one of the most romantic places to stay. Well, we were in for a rude awakening. The room was small, we had a full bed as opposed to queen or king size bed, the bed linens were not 5 star quality, at one time I had a spider crawl on me as i was reading in bed. It was not a pleasant experience. We paid about $* for two nights. The price paid for the rooms wasn't worth the room we stayed in. The house keepers did not clean up cups used when they made the bed and changed towels. The diinner at the restaurant was delicious. I would go back to the restaurant but not the hotel. I hope this review helps some people from expecting the best at Geneva On the Lake and get extremely disappointed once they check in.
