Combined business with touring Frank Lloyd Wright's house. My husband, adult daughter and myself stayed in the Links Condos-2 bedroom unit. All the windows are broken - if you could open them, they don't stay up, those that open you can't close. Weather was warm and after maintenance left - we couldn't open any windows. Condo is filled with overstuffed, well abused very large furniture - there is no room to walk. Baths are small, tight, no counter space, no shelf, and with the towels stuffed behind the door you are cramped for space. Units need updating. Glad we had our car. Ate at Aqeous and had a great meal, but had to wait until 9pm - no one told us the same menu is served in the bar/lounge. Saturday night we went to Autumn and found it closed - there was no notice about this - not at check-in, or a message on the phone, or a note in the unit. It was late and we went to the Tavern - DO NOT GO THERE - food was awful. We were told Lautrec was full, and saw empty tables when we walked by. Asked the concierge for antiquing suggestions - all he knows is hiking at Ohiopyle. If you stay in the condo and plan to have breakfast or lunch there, bring the food with you or be prepared to shop in the local gas station.
Not for families even though they advertise family vacations

This resort is not for families. Even though they try to appeal to all age groups; dining and location of accomodations are very much focused on adult clientel. Families were steered toward condos which are in need of refurbishment. Had to take a shuttle to get anywhere on the resort which while they run consistently was not clear from their ads.
Pricing for food was astronomical. Variety of food options for familes could be improved.
Activities were ok, but once again prices were high compared to other resorts in the region.
I would not stay there again for a family trip - came away feeling like we were treated as second class guests.

Nemacolin's Chateau is a french-style luxury hotel. My wife and I stayed there during our recent trip to Nemacolin on their "Five Diamond First Seating" Package. Neither of us have ever had a five diamond dining experience (like the one at Lautrec), and the package was our Xmas present to one another. The rooms in the Chateau are beautiful -- each one has a crystal chandelier. There's also a lobby bar, cigar bar, and jewelry store in the hotel. They also have thousands of dollars worth of art spread around the property, unbelievable! The Chateau, however, is only one of Nemacolin's three hotels. The property is 3,000-acres.
