Very noisy! Slept 3 hours!

Husband and I went to attend a wedding and stayed the night. The room was nice and the pool and grounds were amazing. What we didn't know until 11 that night is that you can hear EVERYTHING on the whole floor. Slamming doors, drunken people coming in at 1, 2, 3 and 4 am, arguments were heard ALL night. Instead of a restfull night, I woke up with puffy swollen eyes and felt horrible! I travel a lot for work and have actually spend 42 days so far in hotels and have NEVER had a situation like this. Will not be going back. Advice: Hotel pool, grounds and amenities are awesome...but if you're going to go, invest in a casita and not a room.

Spring Break

This was a family trip to enjoy the sunshine at spring break. We were very pleased with the location of this resort. There were hiking trails near by and the national parks were within an hour drive. The pools were fun and the tennis facility was well run and had classes for the kids to play in. We were disappointed that the exercise room was $10 per day and all we wanted was to use a stationary bike for 1/2 hour. Usually the exercise rooms are smaller but free to use. This one was a full club and seemed exessive in such a nice climate. Overall I'd recommend this resort.

Definitely not four stars

When we arrived, they put us in a regular room, even though we had reserved a villa. Their explanation was that too many of the villas were out for maintenance. Even though I had reserved the room for four people, we had to keep asking for more towels, not what I call four star service. We discovered the next day that their vaunted pool slide was out for maintenance also. Unfortunately, we didn't see any effort to repair it during our entire 5 night stay. Also, the children's day camp they advertise is only during the summer. Don't recommend the horseback rides, as they are up and down a steep grade. Also, internet service is not free. Basically, this is a three star hotel in a four star location.

GETAWAY

Hotel was beautiful, sparkeling clean. Beds were heavenly, linens lovely,so comfortable to sleep in. Staff was friendly, truly glad to help with local travel tips and directions. Pool area had lots of chairs, tables, umbrellas. Pool chrystal clear, clean. Hotel food good, but overpriced in my opinion. Can't wait to return next year.
