The hotel is conveniently located, but very dirty and not updated at all.

We found a used bar of soap in the shower, floor not vacuumed, smudged fingerprints all over the white painted walls and doors. Bathroom had no counter space at all, shower/tub filled up when showering. Overall, ICK feeling.

While the hotel is in need of some updates the staff was very friendly and helpful and everything was very clean. Beds and rooms are in need of some repair.

We only like this hotel because of the nostalgic feel and downtown location. Other than that, save your money and go with a chain.

Well, The parking situation left a little to be desired(the self park was around the corner and down the street). The hotel staff were friendly. I just didn't feel the comfort I'm accustomed to when traveling.

This is a great old Hotel. Room was fine, staff very pleasant and I would stay here again. Some people comment negatively, but this is an old hotel and has a great ambience.
Good location for events

This was an excellent location for the Art Festival which we attended-would also be a good location for other events such as the state fair. The hotel is old, but the room was clean and comfortable. I had clearly reserved a king bedded room but ...Read more
