We booked our room the night before we needed it, and got a good price. When we got there it was busy, but the front desk attendants were friendly and we didn't wait more than 10 minutes total (with a long line). The room waa clean, and staff was friendly. It is basically across the street from the mall too. Parking was an additional $9.00.

Good place

A good place. This hotel is across the river from downtown and a 20 minute ride. I had to travel by streetcar (called Tri Met) to downtown. It was free and there was a car every 5-7 minutes, even on the Weekend. Parking was pricy. Nice park across the street and a mall nearby.

Parking not included in price

The room smelled dirty/moldy-musty. Also, the website doesn't tell you that you have to pay an additional * per day for parking. If you're looking for a bargain, don't look here. They nickel and dime you. Internet in your room costs you * per day. Most other hotels offer free wi-fi. Overall, staying here not worth it.

Stay anywhere else but here

If you are looking for good service for a family vacation do not stay here. We stood at the front desk waiting to check in for over an hour. As we were waiting with small children the front desk guys and girls were flirting with one another and being loud and obnoxious... they did not seem helpful or knowledgeable. When we travel we do not expect to be trated like royalty but at least would like the minimal service that Doubletrees are known for. Other than service the location is great. Close to bus line to take downtown. stay elsewhere!!!

Doubletake at some costs

The $19.00 a day parking pass was unexpected, and skip the resturant, $30.00 + for a breakfast for two was no better and even worse than Denney's, cold and poor quailty. If your main purpose is to be Downtown mostly, look for a place closer to Downtown save your self the trouble driving in a very confusing part of town..
