Stayed here for a convention trip. Very clean, great restaurant, and fun sports bar with lots of locals. Great service. Great place to stay on a business trip, but I will probably stay somewhere else (with a casino and where I wouldn't have to drive) on a partying trip.

Hotel was located in bad part of town. Room was fair for an older remodeled hotel. Would not recommend for a family stay.

The room was a great value. It is about 4 or 5 miles from the strip though. The pool is also about 3 or 4 feet deep. The staff in the restaurant connected to the hotel is great. There is a bar open 24 hours and activities inside the bar. (Darts, shuffle board, video poker) The convenience is nice. The neighborhood around the hotel is shady - I wouldn't leave anything in your car. Overall, we saved money and they were very easy going with our pets.

We checked into this hotel because my sister in law had won a free weekend stay. I had heard that this area of town might be dangerous so we called the hotel before our trip to ask questions. We were going to spend the majority of our time on the strip and were told it was a quick cab ride away should only cost about $10.00..maybe 10 years ago. It was over 10.00 just to get to Fremont St. The rooms were dumpy and dirty. There were hairs all over the bathroom floor. The resturant was the best part the food was good and the service great. When we were ready to hit the town the front desk had called a cab for us and said it should be about 5-20 minutes, an hour and a half later I starting dialing on my own, finally the cab did come. We ended up taking all of our things and checking in to a hotel on the strip.Beware you get what you pay for.

What a great place

We got a little turned around and ended up driving around the neighborhood. The neighborhood was less than inviting! I got very concerned about the hotel. I was pleasantly surprised! The hotel was very nice. The restaurant was nice yet reasonable priced with a nice sports bar. It even seems to be a local spot. The police seem to really like the restaurant too. If you are not into the strip and want a nice place to stay, at a reasonable rate, here you go. It is just 1/2 mile or so to the strip, it still is an option.
