Overall it wasn't too bad. A lot of homeless people not too far from the hotel. Pool is open 24 hours or so we were told. When we went at 11p.m. it was locked, but at least it looked clean. Rooms were pretty clean. Staff was very friendly. Air-conditioning was a little weird. We were told that the rooms are preset at 74 degrees. I don't think they were. We were supposed to use our key cards to change the settings which was a little hard in the middle of the night trying to figure out how to do it.The hotel was quiet. We liked that there was a restaurant in the hotel that was pretty cheap. We also got a 10% discount for dinner. The food was okay. Very close to the strip. Overall, would probably stay there again for that price.

Hotel was located in bad part of town. Room was fair for an older remodeled hotel. Would not recommend for a family stay.

The room was a great value. It is about 4 or 5 miles from the strip though. The pool is also about 3 or 4 feet deep. The staff in the restaurant connected to the hotel is great. There is a bar open 24 hours and activities inside the bar. (Darts, shuffle board, video poker) The convenience is nice. The neighborhood around the hotel is shady - I wouldn't leave anything in your car. Overall, we saved money and they were very easy going with our pets.
Keep looking....

We checked into this hotel because my sister in law had won a free weekend stay. I had heard that this area of town might be dangerous so we called the hotel before our trip to ask questions. We were going to spend the majority of our time on the strip and were told it was a quick cab ride away should only cost about $10.00..maybe 10 years ago. It was over 10.00 just to get to Fremont St. The rooms were dumpy and dirty. There were hairs all over the bathroom floor. The resturant was the best part the food was good and the service great. When we were ready to hit the town the front desk had called a cab for us and said it should be about 5-20 minutes, an hour and a half later I starting dialing on my own, finally the cab did come. We ended up taking all of our things and checking in to a hotel on the strip.Beware you get what you pay for.
