Banff Boundary Lodge

Everything was very nice. Room was very large, completely furnished with all kitchen utensils and everything we needed. Front desk personnel were very helpful. A very good choice! Highly recommend.

Awful experience

The hotel is inconveniently located, not in Banff, nor in Canmore. One has to make a U-turn to get to it. The worst part is the rude manner of the keeper. For every question we asked, her reply was downright rude and unwelcoming When we expressed our dissatisfaction, she simply said: " You can leave". How unbelievable! The hotel makes the guests sign an agreement to keep the place clean and quiet or they will be fined for $*. The rules include taking off the shoes and leave them outside. We wonder what kind of crowd this place is dealing with. We will never stay with this place again for sure.

This was one of the best values we found in this area. We found the staff to be very helpful, the unit clean, and spacious. We timed the ride to Banff and found it to be 12 minutes It is really only minutes from downtown and restaurants.

Under New Management

This hotel is under new mangement and alot of effort has gone into ensuring that the guest rooms are clean. Very spacious 2 bedroom units. Kitchen and eating areas to prepare and eat meals. 5 minute drive into Canmore or 15 minutes into Banff. Grounds include a BBQ and playground area in the back.

Best Things Nearby:
Banff, Lake Louise, and the mountains

Best Things About the Resort:
The individual chalets were great. They provide plenty of space for a family of five. The hot tub is also great for a relaxing evening.

Resort Experience:
There is a full kitchen and living area with TV and DVD. The two bedrooms were quite spacious. Each chalet also has two baths, one with tub/shower, and the other with a Jacuzzi. The resort has a lodge with some games and activities but needs some upgrading. The staff were friendly and willing to help out. We had a great visit.

  • Unit Type: 2 Bedroom
  • Activities: Not Available
  • Amenities: Good
  • Unit Satisfaction: Very Good
  • Family Friendliness: Very Good
  • Service: Very Good
