Came for a seminar being held at the hotel and found some of the best food in New Orleans, Dickie Brennans was good, but they couldn't beat Chef Vera's Baked Tilapia, that woman can cook. Everyone there seemed almost like close friends, it felt like a community there, even got to know some of the local politicians and a newscaster that eats there all the time. The room was also nice, housekeeping was wonderful. Everyone here seemed to be happy, a very unusual thing to see, usually everyone is so impersonal. If you want some attention this is a great place to stay, one of the banquet rooms we were in was all redone, very nice, very insulated.

I had a very good stay with the Holiday Inn located at 100 Westbank Expressway, Gretna, La.I did not have a vehicle since I got to the hotel in a cab from the airport. This did not seem like a problem since the hotel has a full-service restaurant and bar on site. I also enjoyed the workout area with updated equipment.
