Would Not Stay Here Again

The rooms are VERY small but they were clean. However, I thought it was very disgusting that the complimentary lotion that was in the bathroom had been used already. The hotel is right in the city and unless you are a heavy sleeper, you might have a hard time sleeping as there are various clubs right on the streeet and late night partying going on. My family and I drove down from MD and arrived at about 1:00 a.m. and the lobby was packed with young people coming in and out of the hotel from nearby clubs. As I was checking in, I heard the receptionist tell one of the other employees that she just received another complaint from one of the guests that it was too loud on her floor. I immediatly thought "what kind of Marriott is this". I will be staying in the suburbs the next time I visit Charlotte! The streets don't look too safe either once you go about 1 mile past the hotel.

Worst Hotel Experience EVER

I arrived at the hotel the parking attendant was speaking so low I could hardly hear him, I asked him to speak up three times, he immediately took an aggressive position with me. After about 3 minutes of going back and forth he gave me my ticket and I went in and checked in. When I got to my room I noticed that I left my folder with all my notes for my meeting in the car so I came down gave a different guy my ticket and when he brought the car, ALL MY PAPERS from my folder where scattered throughout my car, he completely trashed the inside (no damage to the car itself but all my documents were under the seats, upfront, in the back?it was ridiculous) and to ad insult to injury, he ripped my TOM TOM gps out of the frame and threw it in the glove compartment?..i mean he actually broke the plastic that attached the actual unit to the windshield, I brought this up to the attendent that brought my car up and he said that for safty reasons they usually take the gps off the windshield so it isn?t stolen which would have been fine but this guy that parked my car snapped the unit right off of the plastic and all my papers that were in a very specific order for my meetings were scattered everywhere. I left the hotel and didn't even spend the night there the Marriot refused my request for a refund.

Not what I expected of a 4 star hotel!

The bed was an inner spring matress with a feather bed top..I think for a 4 star hotel they should upgrade to a pillow top or something...the service was amazing they added another feather bed since I complained...the bathroom was so tiny and the room itself on the 19th floor was under par. The pool was great but the Jacuzzi was barely a Jacuzzi, over chlorined and barely any bubbles. The only thing that kept me from going to another hotel was the perfect location and awesome service. If the service stunk I would of gave it a 1 star.

Great stay! This is always my first choice when we come to Charlotte for the Panther games! I love that we can walk to the stadium and we are right downtown. You can't beat their breakfast either!

My Stay in October

This Hotel had only one way in and no direction of how to park. We had to pay $16.00 a day to park in Marriott's parking lot I wasn't aware of that when i booked this room. The hotel was nice but I paid in advance for this room like March or April and then was charged more when I came in for the stay. It was close to where I wanted to be so I couldn't complain about the location. What could I do though because everything else had sold out by the time came for the event.
