Great Value, Convenient Location

We stayed for one night after a week-long cruise. Originally we booked a pre- and post-cruise stay at a Fort Lauderdale "Cruise Port" motel since they offered to provide transportation to or from the Port of Miami, but after our first stay we changed our minds about the after cruise reservation. This motel and a one-day car rental were considerably less expensive. Except for the breakfast, we found LaQuinta to be much better, more comfortable and convenient than our original booked location. Continental breakfast was boiled eggs, waffles, pastries, bread & bagles, coffee, juice and cereal. All facilities that we enjoy (pool, microwave, fridge, internet) were available. Walgreens, Dennys, Ruby Tuesdays, shopping areas, flea market were all close, some maybe too far if you don't like to walk, but easy with a vehicle, as was I-95 and the beach. In all, this was probably the best value in a motel which we found for the Miami-Fort Lauderdale general area and will certainly consider staying again.

We stayed 4 days. Every day it was something different housekeeping did not do, clean toilet, no cups, not enough towels.

For the price this place was great! Only problem I had was that the Carpet felt damp and smelled kinda musty. For a 2 star hotel it can't get any better, it looked very modern. They don't require a pet deposit which was GREAT!

I was very impressed witgh the service at this hotel. I had two rooms one was perfect and the other had issues However the management had no problem with personally checking out the avalable room till they found the perfect room. My only problem is I was not impressed with the breakfast. I would stay there again and highly recomend it
