Good value

Nice and roomy with a full size refrigerator was what we needed. Neighborhood was a little suspicious with some seedy characters walking the streets. The breakfast attendant was grumpy. The pool is standard issue for a hotel. Fitness room was pretty good with a flat screen TV and plenty of fans to keep you company. Business center's printers didn't work most of the time. With so much free, I wonder why they still charge 75 cents per local call. Shuttle was regular and was convenient to send us to the local metro station where we used an all-day pass to visit the sites in Washington DC. Sofa bed was subpar though with dangerous metal edges for the little ones to get hurt on. Overall, I would come again because it is an overall good value for the price compared to others in the same area.

We stayed with our 4 children. The hotel is one of the few in D.C. that sleeps 6 in a suite. We had plenty of space but the hotel is not in a great neighborhood. It is showing its age and in need of renovation.

For families on a tight budget, this is a great deal. However, be prepared for rooms that are worn and rather filthy; pets everywhere; the inability to retrieve a fax and uncomfortable beds.

Good Deal for the price

Room was OK: older, but large & clean and had everything we needed. The elevators are painfully slow, one was out of commission while we were there AND the employees didn't use the service elevator, they used the regular one. We had a fire alarm while there, and the employees were no where to be found. My sister & I ended up manning the stairs to prevent tripping and directing guests to the exit. We also didn't receive the extra glasses we asked for. All these things could be easily improved, and this hotel would become a Great deal for the price
